Live Well at Home: Understanding the Benefits of Home Care

Do you want to live well in your own home as you grow older? “Live Well at Home” helps older adults and Veterans live well longer in their own homes. This program also supports family caregivers so they can coordinate and provide care for their loved one. Following the presentation, there will be a panel discussion about home care, home health care, and the Senior Linkage Line. You’ll find answers to questions about the difference between skilled nursing and companion care, costs associated with services, and factors to consider when choosing home care.

Presenters:
Elaine Spain – Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging
Christine Nessler – Freedom Home Care, LLC
Kristine Harmon – The Good Samaritan Society
