Freedom Home Care, LLC is a locally owned business committed to providing professional, non-medical home care and case management services to the people of Southern Minnesota. We provide customized, affordable, basic home care services, which allow individuals to maintain their independence and stay in the comfort of their own home environment. Home care can be a temporary arrangement for recovery from an illness or permanent to allow someone to live at home for as long as possible. It can be for a single individual or for a couple.
Our experienced, compassionate and dependable caregivers provide our clients with loving care and assistance to help make their lives easier and to retain their independence, while providing their families with the peace of mind that their loved ones are safe. All of our caregivers are carefully screened, bonded and insured so you can trust you are getting the best possible assistance.
We are dedicated to being a valuable resource for friends and families of our clients. Family members will be involved with tailoring a unique communication plan that will keep them updated on a consistent basis. Families can also access the Online Family Room Portal to keep live track of caregiver status updates, coordinate and schedule events with other family members and view invoices and payments online. Our caregivers leave detailed voice messages after each shift so family members are kept up-to-date on their loved one’s well-being.

As a member, we have access to recognized experts in the field of home care and the most current educational resources, enabling us to provide the highest level of care to our clients.

At Freedom Home Care, LLC we want to provide each client with a personalized care experience. Every person’s needs are different ranging from a few hours a week of companion care to a more comprehensive plan including 24-hour, live-in care.
Part of the personalized experience is matching clients and caregivers. To ensure we best meet the expectations and desires of our clients, we match the skills of our caregivers to the specific needs of our clients and we also take into consideration personalities to ensure the development of solid relationships and trust.
We carefully select only the most qualified caregivers using a multi-step hiring process that includes state specific and national criminal background checks, employment history checks, license verifications and personal reference checks. From there, each of our caregiver applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement, pass a competency exam, complete orientation and caregiver training and pass several on-line training modules.
In addition to regular visits from management, Freedom Home Care, LLC is able to monitor the accuracy and timeliness of care provided through state-of-the-art scheduling software. This software automatically alerts our staff upon the arrival and departure of each caregiver. If a caregiver fails to arrive on time, an alert is immediately sent to the on-call staff.
